Fragrance Discoveries: Warm and Sweet fragrances

Fragrances are the ultimate luxury. Splashed on as the finishing touch to an outfit, they alone have to power to totally transform how you feel. Whether that’s classy and put together, flirty and fun, or mysterious and seductive. I’ve put together my top three favourites for a warm and sweet scent, whatever your mood.

Bonbon – Viktor and Rolf

For the ultimate girly girl. Viktor and Rolf’s Bonbon is unapologetically feminine and sweet. It’s a lighthearted and warm scent that can be worn day to night. Deep notes of warm caramel, softened by top notes of peach and mandarin. Are all encased in the prettiest deep pink bow bottle, that will look gorgeous on any dressing table. Pictured is the 50ml bottle, which retails at £68 on feelunique.

Velvet Orchid – Tom Ford

Velvet Orchid by Tom Ford is elegant and feminine, yet mysterious. Its warm blend of honey, rum and mandarin make it subtly sweet. But the floral heart notes and base notes of suede, sandalwood and myrrh give it a floral and musky edge.

This ‘Floriental’ fragrance is perfect for evenings, or those days where you want something special. Pictured is the 100ml bottle, which you can buy for £107 from feelunique. 30ml & 50ml bottles are also available, if you wanted to see how you get on before you commit!

La Petite Robe Noir Intense – Guerlain

Not to be confused as a more intense version of La Petite Robe Noir, like the name might suggest. La Petite Robe Noir Intense can be described as more of a sister scent to the original.

The original La Petite Robe noir contains key notes of black cherry and almond. But La Petite Robe Noir Intense’s key notes are blueberry and bergamot, giving a more expensive feel. This fragrance is perfect for those who like something sweet, with a more fruity edge. Pictured is the 50ml bottle, available on feelunique for £70.

If you’re into sweet fragrances like me, I hope I’ve helped you discover a new fragrance. Let me know if you have tried any of these and what you think!

  • I actually haven’t tried any of these, but they all look very luxurious. I think out of all three I’d love to try out the BonBon scent! The way you described it is more my style! Awesome post, xo

I’m such a creature of habit when it comes to perfume, I always repurchase Chanel ‘Coco Mademoiselle’ and that’s all I’ll wear, but I’m really loving the sound of the Tom Ford fragrance – everyone always seems to be raving about his scents. Loved this post!

    • Frances Kayleigh

I’m the total opposite! I love mixing it up and am forever searching for new ones. Although I do always miss favourites that I’ve had before! Xx
