When it comes to everyday make-up, I’m a total creature of habit. I’ve got my 20 minute routine down to a T, and when I’m hurrying to get ready for work in the mornings, testing new products is the last thing on my mind.
However, I’ve ever so slightly switched up how i’ve been doing my make-up on the daily recently and I’ve been loving it, so I thought i’d share.
My base is still my ever so trusty L’Oreal True Match Foundation in shade N2 (shock). I actually think this has been my go to for about 4 years now. I’ve tried others in between but I always find myself reaching for this.
Followed by the Urban Decay Corrector in Peach and Naked Skin Concealer. Which is all set into place with Rimmel’s Stay Matte Powder, in translucent. I love this because it’s suuuper affordable and I go through powders like nobody’s business!
My Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess has taken a bit of a back seat. Making way for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer, which makes me oh so glowy. Seriously, every time I wear this people seem to think I’ve come back from a tropical holiday. LOVE.
Now, my favourite part of this ‘new’ routine, and basically the reason I’m writing this. Apart from to shout about how amazing the Ambient Lighting Bronzer is. (Which by the way if you haven’t tried you totally should).
The eyes. Ok, they might not look like anything special to you. But I’ve recently rediscovered the Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay and oh my goodness, why has it been lost in my drawer for so long. Currently obsessing over the soft, warm look these shades are bringing to the table.
I’m using Nooner in the crease, Liar on the lid, and the teensiest bit of Darkside just to add some depth to the outer corner. Then adding a little black kohl liner to the outer third of my lower lash line. I use the Lord and Berry Couture Kohl Kajal, which is so great and so easy to smudge/blend. Then smudging over the top of this with the shade Limit, to make it super soft and wearable for everyday.
And that’s it! Mascara is currently L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes Feline and brows are Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Dark Brown (as per). I don’t know why I haven’t used a kohl liner in forever but I’m loving the subtle definition it gives. Hope you enjoyed and if you take anything away from this post go and try the Ambient Lighting Bronzer (please :)).
